Before I forget...
Daddy introducing Sarah to pretzels and "Hellovagood Bacon Horseradish Dip" Mommy says, "yuck".Some interesting comments from Johnny boy:
John noticed our neighbor's hot peppers. After I told him what they were, he asked me if it would make smoke come out of his ears...
Ahh! There was another cute thing he said the other day....I forgot!

Water and Dirt
Today we spent a few hours outside. What a beautiful day! We were playing with chalk on the sidewalk, but then our interest turned toward the sprinkler. John kept moving the sprinkler....and while I was dancing around to avoid being soaked, Sarah decided to do a soil test. (I think Uncle Robert-who spent a good part of his young adult life studying dirt at U of MD-gave her some good pointers...)

Native eating behaviors: August 13, 2006
Sarah was eating noodles and banana. After several noodles, she turned her head and pursed her lips. Then she said, "nana". She happily received a bite of banana! She communicated and said her first word on the same day!
John's famous bumpy blue blanket positioned ever so perfectly, bumpy side up while he drinks his warmed milk... We are quite particular!
Aunt Sandra comes for a quick visit
August 12, 2006Aunt Sandra and her friend, Susan, had to make a quick trip up
north for a funeral. Grandma's pad ended up being a good midway stop. So, after a late dinner of black bean and spinach enchiladas, we goofed around. Sarah and John love to play on the floor together. And, of course, John told Aunt Sandra to "run!", one of his most favorite commands.

A Little Catch-up!

The Kerr Family: Bruce, Kimbery, John and Sarah!
One of my new year's resolutions was to scrapbook....well... it's August and nothing has been done! I think I am intimidated by all the cutting and arranging. What I wanted most of all is a cool little "diary" of our biggest accomplishments: John and Sarah!
